It's Intern Takeover Thursday! This week is Fletcher Freeman from our Tennessee region. “Here is a selfie I took at my desk using the OpenSpace 360 camera. One important role I had as an assistant project engineer was to walk the jobsite with the 360 camera and upload my videos to OpenSpace. Other tasks I had were to manage submittals, manage punch lists, and schedule/record owner training. Capturing a detailed image of an OR room in the orthopedic surgery center during closeout was a highlight. "This photo means a lot to me because the project team welcomed me and included me in their team at the Tarleton State University library extension. Before I started my internship with Christman, Kahla Miller, the project manager, invited me to a concrete pour. The end is drawing nearer at the Cannon House Office Building Renewal project on Capitol Hill. Saturday saw the successful removal of the tower crane from the courtyard after 10 years of construction! We used a 770T mobile crane to get enough reach to pick the mast over the occupied building. The rain held off and the whole team dug into the details to make sure everything went according to plan. Thanks especially to Steve Leary and Stephen Johnson!
