  • The Estée Lauder Companies marked a milestone moment in fragrance with the opening of L’Atelier at La Maison des Parfums in the heart of Paris.   The inauguration celebration began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony where Stephane de La Faverie, President and CEO, and William P. Lauder, Chair of the Board of Directors, welcomed guests, government officials, and partners to recognize this moment.   Sumit Bhasin, Senior Vice President, Global R&D and Innovation for Fragrance, Makeup and External Partnerships, and other members of ELC’s global innovation team, then guided attendees through the Atelier’s co-creation spaces and innovation labs, showcasing the company’s AI-enabled, end-to-end fragrance development capabilities and the advanced technologies driving next-generation scent creation. Guests explored everything from ingredient measurement and scent layering to the ways AI and neuroscience are redefining how fragrances are conceived and experienced.   Susan Malsbury, Executive Director of the Leonard A. Lauder Estée Lauder Companies Archives, joined William P. Lauder to offer a rare look into the company’s fragrance heritage, highlighting vintage fragrances and archival treasures that reflect Mrs. Estée Lauder’s pioneering vision and enduring influence.   Where heritage meets technology, the Atelier stands as a testament to creativity and ELC’s bold next chapter in fragrance.
