LinkedIn ads not landing? Nurture sequences going cold? You’re not alone. Even the best campaigns lose steam when your ICP has seen the same playbook one too many times. So instead of pushing harder on what wasn’t working, we tried something different — and got a room full of security leaders from our target accounts together for a drink (and a demo). Here’s how 👇 1. Start with something worth showing off. If you’re asking people to give you their time, the experience has to deliver. We built the event around one of our key differentiators — the J1 MCP server — and had our demo dream team, Kurt Fisette and Chad RICHTS, lead short, impactful walkthroughs of use-cases that were relevant to our attendees. The key? Keep it snackable and interactive, showing real value fast. 2. Break through the webinar fatigue. Attention spans are short and inboxes are full. So we lightened up on the slides and teamed up with Stevie P and The Mixologer to send custom cocktail kits straight to attendees’ doors. It wasn’t just a fun touch — it got people genuinely excited to log in, connect, and stay engaged. The mixology session set the tone for conversation, and the demo became the natural next course. Turns out, tequila really does make a demo go down easier. 🍹 3. Bring sales in from the start. Our sales team didn’t just show up at the end — they helped build the guest list. This kind of experience is perfect for re-engaging cold leads and opening new doors. Huge shoutout to Konrad Klosowiak, Ethan Clark, and Balakw Cleary for crushing personalized outreach and getting the right people in the (virtual) room. 4. Nail the follow-through. The event is just the start. We're following up with demo clips, social highlights, and targeted CTAs to keep the energy going and move interested prospects further down the funnel. The post-event content is designed to keep the conversation alive long after the last cocktail was poured. If your ads are stalling or your nurtures are fading out, it might be time to trade another webinar for an experience. Because sometimes, the best marketing strategy starts with a great cocktail. 🍸
