The Meadows is a 117-bed private behavioral health care facility on a spacious 52-acre rural campus, located minutes outside State College in Central Pennsylvania. As an integrated behavioral health care delivery system, The Meadows provides comprehensive mental and behavioral health treatment services to children, adolescents, adults and older adults. Each unit on campus provides specialized care programs for every age group. Offering a wide referral network of providers throughout Central Pennsylvania, The Meadows represents a regional specialty system structured to meet the continuum of care demanded by patients, professionals and payers.

In honor of #NursesDay, we would like to give a shout out to our entire nursing department and our Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), Pam! She previously worked for us as a Unit Nurse Manager and we are proud to have her return to our team as the CNO in late January of this year. Pam is a graduate of Penn State University with an ASN in 2010 and a BSN in 2013. Pam's background has been predominantly in emergency medicine and behavioral health. Most recently, Pam graduated with her Master's in Healthcare Administration in July 2024. Thank you to our team of nurses for the great work that you do!
