By adding this new talent, we are doubling down on our commitment to redefine the member experience and prove that a nonprofit plan can set the standard for how older adults are served.” SCAN's recent appointments include: - The appointment of Beth Ginzinger, RN, MBA, NACD.DC, who brings extensive clinical and executive leadership experience to her new role as Head of Care Delivery Assets. - The appointment of Erik D. Helms to Corporate Vice President of Network Management, where he will bring a wealth of experience in managed care to oversee SCAN’s enterprise network management strategy. - The appointment of Martin Esquivel to Chief Product Officer, where he will draw on his successful track record to lead the strategy, design, and management of SCAN’s Medicare Advantage products. - The role expansion of Stanton Sasaki from Vice President of Broker Sales to Vice President National Accounts & Sales Innovation where he will advance SCAN’s most strategic relationships, including those with municipalities, large employer groups, and other key stakeholders. “These appointments build on the foundation our leadership team has created and mark the next chapter in SCAN’s evolution,” said Karen Schulte, President of Medicare for SCAN Health Plan. “As we expand into new markets, we remain focused on delivering an unparalleled Medicare Advantage experience, one that puts older adults first, strengthens our partnerships, and raises the bar for the entire industry.” Read more on the continued expansion of our leadership team and explore their backgrounds here: https://lnkd.in/gn9JitmW

"Healthcare has no shortage of complexity or competing incentives. But it also has no shortage of people who still want to do the right thing. The challenge is resisting the gradual erosion of those instincts... It begins with clarity, it builds with accountability, and it endures when we commit to living the values we once only wrote on the wall." SCAN CEO Dr. Sachin H. Jain, MD, MBA explores the idea of ethical erosion in healthcare, its causes, and calls for recognition and extended clarity around it in this Forbes column: https://lnkd.in/gtrpSXzT
