This year's recipient serves as Executive Director of Senior Centers, Inc., right here in Toledo. She is a lifelong Toledoan whose professional career has involved working in higher education, the travel industry, and the nonprofit sector. Shelly's exceptional partnership and unwavering support for the Museum have not gone unnoticed, and TMA is thrilled to recognize her significant contributions to the Museum and the Toledo community. Big things are happening at TMA! Hear from our Director of Conservation, Vanessa Applebaum, as she shares the latest about a construction opening that will be coming later in September. This opening will not affect access to any of the galleries currently open to the public. We are creating it to avoid closing the museum to carry construction materials through the existing doors.
