    Yesterday, in recognition of World Food Day, the TOMS team traded keyboards for cutting boards! 🍴💙   For our 9th annual Community Impact Day, employees across the globe gave back to their local communities.    In Los Angeles, we partnered with Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles to prepare 600 meals for those in need—a meaningful way to support the 1 in 4 Californians facing food insecurity. 🥕 Across the pond, our EMEA teams in London and Amsterdam rolled up their sleeves too—volunteering at local food banks, lending a hand on an organic fruit and vegetable farm, and cooking meals for Ukrainian refugees.     My kids’ shoes tell a heartwarming story thanks to TOMS. Every time they wear them, it’s my little reminder that two pairs were donated to children in Save the Children US’ programs. What else does this mean? Well, as a parent (with two kids in very pricey daycare), it means that I’m willing to spend a premium on products that make a difference. Let’s face it, these shoes that my toddlers will grow out of in .5 seconds were not cheap. And as you can see, I’m caring a whole lot more about the shoes than the mismatched socks!

    TOMS is proud to have donated more than 600 pairs of shoes to the Children's Law Center of California, an organization that advocates for the rights and well-being of foster youth.   While many companies dispose of sample shoes, we’re grateful ours found a second life - helping support kids in need and creating Better Tomorrows.   This donation of shoes is in addition to our recent One for One® day. It’s part of a broader commitment to making an impact: through designated #OneforOne Days, nonprofit grants powered by customer purchases, and purpose-driven practices built into how we operate.   Because no matter the path, our goal remains the same: to support children’s education, health, and well-being—giving kids everywhere the opportunity to step into a brighter future. 👟✨
