One of the highlights of ToC week was watching Options Group Squash & Learn in action. Seeing mentorship unfold on and off the court is a reminder that access and opportunity can create real pathways and lasting impact. Meet Diego Santos 🌟 Diego first connected with the Squash and Education Alliance (SEA) in sixth grade through CitySquash, and that moment set him on a path full of opportunity, mentorship, and growth. Reflecting on his journey, Diego shared: “I first learned about the Squash and Education Alliance (SEA) in sixth grade through CitySquash, and from that moment on, SEA has shaped the trajectory of my life—opening doors far beyond the court through mentorship, exposure, and real access to opportunity. That path led me to OG Squash & Learn and to Options Group, where I had my first real corporate experience, gained hands-on exposure to how companies operate, and learned the importance of asking questions, teamwork, communication, professionalism, and showing up prepared and on time. The mentorship, internship, and part-time work at OG gave me the push I needed to think seriously about my future—and how I want to bring what I’ve learned into my family’s business and be part of shaping and growing it.” From mentee to intern, Diego exemplifies how programs like OG Squash & Learn can open doors, build confidence, and inspire the next generation of leaders. Proud to spotlight the return of Options Group Squash & Learn at the Sprott Tournament of Champions presented by Crowd Street—where mentorship, sport, and opportunity collide on one of the world’s most iconic stages. Now in its third year, this collaborative initiative brings together Options Group, the Squash and Education Alliance (SEA), and Tournament of Champions to empower the next generation of leaders through meaningful, one-on-one mentorship and on-court connection at Grand Central Terminal. This year, eight Options Group executives are paired with eight standout SEA alumni (ages 19–26) for career development conversations spanning finance, technology, data science, cybersecurity, entrepreneurship, and more—followed by squash sessions that flip the script, with mentees coaching mentors on the court. More than a program, OG Squash & Learn is about opening doors, sharing knowledge, and building confidence—on and off the court.
