⏱️ T.I.M.E. is of the essence to spot sepsis quickly. Sepsis develops when your body’s extreme response to an infection causes organ damage. It can lead to tissue damage, organ failure, or death if not recognized early. Even though this serious condition affects millions each year, many people don’t recognize the symptoms until it’s too late. ✅ Our staff routinely screens patients for sepsis, activates Rapid Response Team Sepsis Alerts when needed, and follows proven protocols to improve patient outcomes. But the best tool we all have is awareness. Knowing the symptoms can save lives. Think “T.I.M.E.” and spot the signs of sepsis: • T – Temperature: Fever or chills • I – Infection: Signs of infection (pain, redness, swelling, discharge) • M – Mental decline: Confusion, difficulty concentrating, or lethargy • E – Extremely ill: Feeling very sick, weak, or in severe pain 📝 Test your sepsis knowledge and scroll through our True or False Quiz. 🔗 Learn more: https://bit.ly/4gM1IRz #SepsisAwareness
