The Town of Vernon in partnership with the Tolland County Chamber of Commerce and Capital Workforce Partners, is hosting the North Central Connecticut Job Fair, an event that will bring together public and private employers from across the region and people seeking jobs. The job fair is scheduled for 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25 at Vernon Center Middle School, 777 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon. All are welcome. Dozens of businesses from throughout the region have signed up, and more are welcome. The deadline to sign up is Sept. 15. Walk-ins are welcome.
