91% of cyberattacks start with a human mistake. Yet far too often, cybersecurity remains treated as an IT challenge, not a leadership discipline. When leaders invest in creating a culture of awareness, accountability, and rapid reporting, human error transforms into human strength. At Trilogyworks, we help executive teams operationalize a cyber-resilient culture—where every user becomes a defense layer. Tip: Recognize and report scams before they spread. #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth #StaySafeOnline #CISOGovernance

Thrilled that Trilogyworks could contribute our expertise to the panel on #Cyber and #AI at Red Cell Partners’ recent All Hands in McLean, VA! It was an honor to share insights alongside fellow executives and domain experts, diving deep into customer voices shaping healthcare, cyber, and national security.
Last week marked another Red Cell All Hands as our team returned to our McLean, Virginia headquarters to celebrate our wins - including an exciting contract with the US Navy, partnership with Duke Health, and much more - reflect on recent learnings, and plan for the year ahead. As part of our agenda, we also had the honor of hosting executives and domain experts across healthcare, cyber, and national security to unveil invaluable insights on the voice of the customer across these mission-critical areas. And naturally, it wouldn't have been a Red Cell All Hands without some morning physical training – this time at Solidcore 💪 Thank you to our panelists, our growing team, and everyone who made the week so memorable. Until next time! Are small language models the next big thing in #AI? Peter Phillip explains small language models are specialized AIs trained on specific domains—think chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, astrophysics, or any niche field you need. The idea is that, rather than having a massive model full of general knowledge (including, say, Shakespeare, if you don't need it), you create a focused model that's "small, but very intensely and deeply" tuned to exactly the information that matters for your use case. The intelligence from unrelated fields gets left out, making these models highly efficient for sector-specific tasks. So, with their targeted expertise and streamlined focus, small language models could well be a game-changer for professionals who need deep knowledge, not broad trivia. #AIRevolution #SmallLanguageModels #UpskillOrDie #SpecializedAI

In today’s digital landscape, cybersecurity threats evolve just as quickly as the technology designed to prevent them. The rise of artificial intelligence has transformed not only how we work and communicate — but also how criminals operate. One of the latest emerging risks gaining attention in cybersecurity circles is a tactic known as “vibe hacking.” Read more below.

Generative AI isn't just changing how we work—it's fundamentally reshaping the threat landscape. The numbers tell a sobering story: • 66% of organizations identify GenAI as 2025's top cybersecurity disruptor • Yet only 37% have processes to vet AI tools for security vulnerabilities before deployment • Deepfake tools on dark web forums have surged 223% since early 2023 Here's what keeps me up at night: AI-powered phishing is now indistinguishable from legitimate communications. In 2024 alone, 42% of firms fell victim to social engineering attacks—and that was before AI truly hit its stride. The AI agent explosion adds another layer of complexity. As organizations deploy autonomous agents to handle everything from customer service to code deployment, each agent becomes a potential attack vector—or a powerful defense mechanism, depending on how it's secured. The risk multiplies for mid-market organizations. 69% of smaller companies lack basic AI security safeguards, making them prime targets for adversarial AI attacks that are faster, cheaper, and more convincing than ever. The opportunity? Organizations that act now will build competitive advantage through security. The question isn't whether AI will disrupt your security posture—it's whether you'll be prepared when it does. At TrilogyWorks, we help organizations navigate this complexity and turn AI—including autonomous agents—from a vulnerability into a strategic asset. Is your organization ready for the AI-powered threat landscape? Let's talk. #Cybersecurity #AIRisk #GenAI #AIAgents #ThreatIntelligence #SecurityLeadership

It was an honor for our team to meet with a number of organizations across Tennessee this past week to discuss preventative cybersecurity measures and foundational best practices. These conversations are at the heart of what we do—empowering organizations with the knowledge, tools, and strategies they need to proactively protect their systems, data, and people. As we continue to serve our clients, our mission remains the same: to raise the standard of cybersecurity awareness and help as many organizations as possible understand what they can be doing right now to strengthen their defenses. By implementing proactive strategies and building a culture of security at the base level, we can all be better prepared for the challenges of a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Model Retirement: The Overlooked Security Risk Everyone talks about AI model deployment. Nobody talks about AI model retirement. That's a problem. Legacy models still processing live data, using outdated security frameworks, and consuming resources nobody is monitoring is a problem. The Reality: Model lifecycle management is security lifecycle management. But most organizations treat AI models like permanent infrastructure instead of applications that need regular retirement. Why This Matters: • Legacy models often lack current security controls and monitoring • Outdated models may not comply with evolving AI regulations • Resource consumption from unused models creates unnecessary attack surface • Data retention policies often don't account for model-specific data requirements Trilogyworks recommends: • Sunset Planning: Every model gets a retirement date • Data Inventory: Complete mapping of what data each model accesses and retains • Dependency Analysis: Understanding which systems and processes rely on each model • Secure Decommissioning: Proper data purging, access revocation, and audit documentation What We've Learned: Organizations that don't plan for model retirement end up with AI sprawl that's impossible to secure effectively. After three decades of watching technology lifecycles, this pattern is predictable. The question isn't whether you'll need to retire AI models. It's whether you'll do it securely. How many AI models are you running that should probably be retired? Most organizations don't even know.
