Unleashing Mankind's Galactic Destiny

About us

Turion Space is building the infrastructure to secure and sustain the future of space. Founded to address the growing need for space domain awareness, in-space servicing, and debris mitigation, Turion designs, builds, and operates spacecraft with real-world operational capability. Our vehicles are built for national security and commercial missions that require speed, autonomy, and resilience. We believe the next chapter of space operations will be defined by who can act, not just observe. That’s why we’re focused on building platforms that move fast, adapt in orbit, and solve problems ranging from satellite servicing to tactical intelligence gathering. We successfully launched our DROID.001 satellite in June 2023 and DROID.002 in March 2025. DROID.003 is scheduled for launch in 2026. https://x.com/TurionSpace https://www.youtube.com/@TURIONSPACE https://www.instagram.com/turionspace/

Ingrid "Yessie" Lynch (VP of Partnerships & Strategy at Turion Space) told me about the women who have inspired her.   She discusses a range of people that have influenced her on her journey to leadership and beyond.   From her mother, who (along with her father) worked tirelessly to provide the best opportunities for her.   To Gwynne Shotwell, President & COO at SpaceX, who has been instrumental in shaping SpaceX into the industry leader it is today.   And finally, Sam Sargent, the Chief Revenue Officer at Unibap Space Solutions AB (and fellow Women in Deep Tech participant!). Yessie speaks about Sam's allyship and her positive influence as a young leader in the industry. Yessie's reflections remind me why visibility and community is so important in profession and personal growth! I'm really grateful to share the wonderful Ingrid "Yessie" Lynch's (VP of Partnerships & Strategy, Turion Space) #WomeninDeepTech interview.   Yessie has grown with Turion Space from its early days, establishing herself as a senior leader within the business, building and aligning diverse engineering and program teams to execute on increasingly complex missions in orbit.   She talks to me about the advantages of a diverse industry background, her people-first approach to leadership and the lessons she's learnt along the way.   For me, Yessie has been an early supporter of this Women in Deep Tech initiative and I couldn't be more grateful for her friendship.   To read the full interview 👇 https://lnkd.in/eQ8VBN_D #WomeninDeepTech #WIDT #SpaceSeries #Leadership #Innovation

  • Turion Space Acquires Tychee Research Group to Accelerate Autonomous Space Operations We’re thrilled to announce that Turion Space Corp. has acquired Tychee Research Group, bringing Tychee’s world-class astrodynamics team and its flagship Tychee Mission Planning Library (TMPL) into our Starfire platform. This integration enables fast and resilient software-defined space missions: - Mission planning & maneuver optimization - Autonomous operations - Real-time, high-fidelity mission engineering Why this matters: Space missions demand faster planning cycles, higher fidelity, and real-time adaptability. By embedding TMPL into Starfire, we’re delivering an end-to-end mission-engineering SDK that runs the same algorithms on the ground and onboard spacecraft, securely and at scale. What’s next: - End-to-end mission ownership for faster intent-to-execution - Autonomous, software-defined operations for advanced missions - Scaled adoption across government, commercial, and academic sectors Rob Brady, founder of Tychee, will join Turion as Chief Product Officer. We're excited to welcome Rob and the Tychee team! Together, we’re building the infrastructure that makes orbit usable, scalable, and secure. • Turion started as a small team trying to prove out a product vision. Years later, scaling companies like ours are now demonstrating our ability to perform on missions that matter—and gaining recognition for it. Dr. Kelly Hammett's mention of Turion in the article below highlights what sets us apart: our customers consider us one of the most promising upcoming providers for advanced maneuverable spacecraft technology, a critical capability for U.S. space superiority in the years ahead. Last month, in partnership with Critical Software, our orbital validation platform NEXUS successfully executed third-party flight software in live operational conditions. The Karvel platform from Critical Software achieved Technical Readiness Level (TRL) 8 aboard Turion's DROID.002. NEXUS allows customers to upload, test, and run software on-orbit without needing to operate their own satellites. NEXUS delivers rapid, safe, on-orbit validation of edge-compute workloads with full spacecraft control retained by Turion. Our integration with Critical Software demonstrates Turion's ability to partner with third parties and achieve real-world mission outcomes today.
