A network of aging bridges in the El Paso District was showing signs of wear, and TxDOT needed a plan that wouldn’t disrupt one of Texas’s busiest travel corridors. Ulteig delivered a fast, focused solution. Our engineers assessed 16 structures, prioritized repairs within available funding, and completed PS&E for 13 bridges in just four months. By introducing innovative polyester polymer concrete overlays and providing traffic control support, we minimized construction time and ensured traffic flow remained uninterrupted. The outcome: safer bridges, extended service life, and improved travel reliability for the community.
