  • To celebrate the launch of Vital Stories—a new creative storytelling program from Tribeca Studios and Eli Lilly and Company—Jonathan Levy (Agent, TV Lit) participated in the program’s first-ever creative summit, held in New York City. The summit focused on supporting filmmakers directly on their projects and deepening their skillsets. Attendees received guidance from both film and medical experts, explored best practices from Lilly’s Advancing Health Storylines in Popular Entertainment toolkit, and engaged with leading industry voices across sessions. Vital Stories aims to empower filmmakers to tell authentic, inclusive, and emotionally resonant stories about health experiences. It was brought to life through UTA Entertainment Marketing’s partnership with Lilly. The initiative ladders into UTA’s broader work with Lilly on its commitment to addressing the underrepresentation and misrepresentation of health conditions in media by supporting creators who integrate patient and treatment narratives into everyday storytelling. https://lnkd.in/g7rc9EZa

  • The power of networking lies in turning connections into opportunities for growth. In our series “The Backstory,” we interview UTA “boomerangs,” employees who left to explore new chapters and later returned, which is a path that’s becoming more common across more industries. Events Manager Kasey Covaleski is no stranger to the power of networking and building lasting connections with your colleagues. In our latest Q&A, she shares how a chance connection at a college event launched her career at UTA—and years later, another connection brought her back.

  • Congratulations to Jenna Gates (Agent, Talent) and Jordan Lonner (Agent, MP Lit) on being named to The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Gen Class of 2025! Representing the future of Hollywood, this year’s honorees are recognized not only for their impressive client rosters and career achievements but also for their ability to lead an industry undergoing rapid change. Gates is celebrated for “steer[ing] the careers of skyrocketing performers” while Lonner is recognized for “carv[ing] out a niche tapping filmmakers before they lift off.” Together, they exemplify the next generation of agents shaping what’s next for entertainment. https://lnkd.in/gp_Gdzf6

  • “I’ve always said that it’s not a disadvantage to be a woman, and I firmly believe that,” Elisa Vazzana (Agent, Music) said at this year’s Billboard Live Music Summit. Vazzana (pictured on right) joined a panel titled “The Women Leading the Booking Space” in Los Angeles at the 1 Hotel West Hollywood, moderated by Billboard Editor-in-Chief Hannah Karp. She discussed the latest challenges and trends in touring—and what it means to be a female agent in 2025. “I was raised by a dad who was like, ‘Get in there, do the job, be smarter than everyone else,’ and by the way, sometimes I maybe have to yell a little louder, but I don’t see that as a negative. I see it as a necessity, and if it helps move women forward, so be it.” Read more at the link below.  https://lnkd.in/gFtdRf_f

  • Listening is what opens doors to insight, growth, and meaningful connections. In this clip of “The 1:1”—our ongoing series bringing together an agent and a mentor who’s impacted their career—Unscripted Agents Kellen Alberstone and Rachel Garfield discuss the power of listening when it comes to representing clients, shaping the industry, and supporting one another. Stay tuned for more “The 1:1.” convos that dive into how our agents foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and creativity at UTA.

  • At this year’s Because They're Funny Comedy Festival in Washington D.C., Isaiah Jones (Agent, Comedy Touring) sat down with The Washington Post journalist Amber Ferguson to share his journey and unpack the business of comedy for comics of color. Created and run by the producers of the American Black Film Festival and a property of NICE CROWD, one of BTF’s main goals is to provide diverse comedic talent a platform that can help propel their careers. In supporting that goal, Jones shared how these comedians can build successful touring careers, industry trends, and what it takes to thrive in today’s booming live entertainment market.

  • “The new paradigm is that you want to make content that's so good that people will pay to watch it. In a sense, they pay with their limited time. That's at the core of entertainment marketing and cultural marketing: How do we deliver value to the consumer?“ Welcome to “The Link,” a Q&A series from Next Gen, a practice of UTA Entertainment Marketing that’s focused on building bridges between Gen Z and brands. In “The Link,” the Next Gen team speaks to today’s most formidable Gen Z voices about everything at the intersection of youth culture, brand-building, marketing, and more. In this edition, they sat down with Allen Ortega, VP of Marketing at Remedy Science. From building CeraVe’s TikTok from zero to 1.8M followers to launching the viral Michael CeraVe Super Bowl campaign, Ortega discusses how bringing a creator mindset to work has resulted in iconic marketing campaigns.

  • UTA’s Lauren Nogy (Agent, Endorsement & Voiceover) and our clients (pictured in alphabetical order) Alex Cooper, Maggie Kang, Jayme Lawson, Britt Lower, and Kaitlin Olson are honored on this year’s Variety Women’s Impact Report! The annual report celebrates visionaries across entertainment—from blockbusters to chart-topping series to culture-shaping podcasts—as well as dealmakers like Nogy who deliver incredible outcomes for their clients. “The resilience illustrated by the women on our 2025 report is the secret sauce of showbiz,” Variety writes. https://lnkd.in/gX46JcsD

  • ZCON energy = unmatched. Last week, UTA’s Next Gen—a practice of Entertainment Marketing—hosted its annual Gen Z summit in Los Angeles at The Preserve, bringing together brands, creators, and next gen talent to connect what’s next in entertainment, marketing, and culture. The two-day event kicked off with Cosmopolitan’s Z-STARS, presented with Coach, which celebrated today’s leading Gen Z voices and changemakers. Day two was full of inspired programming led by Gen Z talent, and Gymnasium announced its new branded content series “Girl Room,” sponsored by Amazon Prime. A spinoff of the viral “Boy Room,” our client Owen Thiele will host the unfiltered look into the lives of America’s “messiest” young women. Client Malala Yousafzai also shared a special video message with attendees, as Coach gifted copies of her recent book, "Finding My Way: A Memoir," to all guests. Thank you to our event partners Coach, L'Oréal, Yahoo, E.L.F. BEAUTY, Spotify, RIVET, AXE, and Invisalign.

  • In New York City, we brought together colleagues, clients, and industry partners from news and media for a Diwali celebration. This marks our second annual Diwali event, hosted by client and CBS News correspondent Shanelle Kaul and UTA’s Divya Y. (Agent, News), and held at Brooklyn’s INDAY. “Bringing a beautiful Diwali celebration like this to life within the news industry fills me with immense pride and gratitude. It’s a wonderful reminder of the magic that happens when community and culture come together,” Yeleswarapu shares.
