Highlights: ☑️ Top 10% statewide in ELA growth among high-needs schools ☑️ 62% of 8th graders achieved gap-closing growth in math ☑️ 8th graders nearly doubled the district on civics MCAS outcomes ☑️ Chronic absenteeism declining faster than the district, with students with disabilities seeing the largest improvement. From September 15 to October 15, we celebrate the cultures, traditions, and contributions of the Hispanic community. At UP, nearly half of our families and many of our staff are Hispanic, and their identity and experiences are woven into the fabric of our schools. This month, we’re proud to share the voices of our staff as they reflect on what being Hispanic means to them. The new school year is officially underway! 🍎✨ Last month, our entire network reunited for our annual Summit, the first time back together after the summer break. We reconnected, shared ideas, and fueled up for the year ahead. The energy in the room was incredible, and we’re more ready than ever to make this year extraordinary for our students.
