The U.S. Army Center for Initial Military Training (USACIMT) is the core function lead for U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command for all initial entry training. USACIMT leads the synchronization and management of initial military training and education to transform civilian volunteers into Soldiers who are disciplined, fit, combat ready, and who increase Army readiness at first units of assignment. USACIMT is the Army proponent for the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) System. H2F is an enterprise-wide readiness initiative that combines all aspects of physical and non-physical human performance optimization under a single governance structure to enable commanders to improve Soldier health and fitness.
