“Prompting isn’t a separate skill - it’s design in a new language.” - ⚡️Zander Whitehurst from Memorisely I recently wrapped up Zander’s AI Bootcamp, and it opened my eyes to how prompting isn’t just about words... it’s a new design fluency. In enterprise UX, prompts are becoming part of the system: framing intent, guiding outputs, and shaping how AI integrates with our workflows. This week’s tip: Reframing Problem Statements with AI. Instead of sticking with one version of your problem statement, let AI quickly help you reword it through three lenses… the user, tech & business-first. The results? Three distinct framings, each useful for different audiences Why it works: ✔ Clarifies alignment ✔ Surfaces blind spots ✔ Makes sure every stakeholder sees themselves in the problem This isn’t about shortcuts… it’s about habits. Read the full blog post: https://lnkd.in/gkxXqU5Z 👉 Would your team find this useful for kickoffs, or do you stick with a single framing? Ever think you have that perfect user flow for release, and then the elusive edge case surfaces? We’re often focused on the happy path only to have an edge case derail timelines, and erode teammate trust in the UX process. Here’s a Midgame Move I’ve been testing... using AI chat (no plugins, no setup) to brainstorm all the edge cases mid-sprint. AI helps pressure-test your flows early so you can pivot while there’s still time. In this post you’ll see: ✔️ Example prompt you can use to pressure test ✔️ What kind of outputs to expect ✔️ How to filter AI noise into real UX insight Full blog post: https://lnkd.in/g7DM3DQz 💬 Question for my fellow UXers: What’s the trickiest edge case you’ve ever caught just in time? #UXDesign #EnterpriseUX #AIforUX #UXBishop

Zelle fraud is on the rise with hundreds of thousands of victims and millions lost. But beyond the financial damage, the user experience of reporting fraud is fragmented, opaque, and stressful. For my recent case study for the AI Product Design bootcamp with Memorisely, I wanted to see how AI could help accelerate exploring solutions to an existing problem already out there in the world. Some of what I tested with AI: Synthesizing hours of fraud victim interviews in a single day Turning pain points into “How might we…” opportunities Designing and prototyping a Visible Audit Trail... a transparent way for users to see the status of their fraud investigations. My findings? Human designers ensure empathy, trust, and clarity and AI cut weeks of work into days, giving me sharper opportunities to design from. This is the balance I see for the future: AI accelerates the process → humans anchor the outcome. I pulled my key takeaways into a short slide deck here and you can read the full case study and try out the prototype here: https://lnkd.in/gwV7nGgQ 👉 Curious: would you trust your bank more if you could see every step in your fraud case? #UXDesign #AIinUX #CaseStudy #DesignThinking #EnterpriseUX #Fintech

✨ Kickoffs aren’t for winging it... they’re for working smarter. This week’s win: Turning wireframes into kickoff-ready stories. Instead of leaning on wireframes to tell the story, let AI draft the narrative for you. Here’s how it works: 1️⃣ Take a screenshot of your wireframe or flow. 2️⃣ Prompt AI for a short stakeholder walkthrough. 3️⃣ Get a storyline that explains who the user is, what they’re doing, and how your design supports them. Why it matters: ✔ Keeps kickoffs human-centered ✔ Helps stakeholders see the context, not just the UI ✔ Saves you hours of writing prep Small, repeatable workflows that create alignment faster and free teams up to focus on the real design work. 💪🏻 Read the full blog post here: https://lnkd.in/g8j7spvu 👉 Would your team find this helpful in kickoffs, or do you still prefer writing scripts by hand? 🚵 In enterprise UX design, AI is a new terrain to traverse. Explorers aren’t just building features... they’re testing AI tools early, spotting hidden opportunities, and asking the tough questions on ethics and governance. ✨ In the Mentoring AI series, I explore moments where prompting AI isn’t just about giving instructions. It’s design leadership in action. Want better AI collaboration? Treat it like a junior designer in training. Structure your prompts to drive smarter, more usable, and aligned iterations. Lead AI by defining their role, task, the context, constraints, and format. You’ll find the output to be more usable, and aligned to common UX design patterns. 🎯 As part of my UX AI Toolbox series, I explore how well different AI tools handle everyday UX tasks. This time, I put Claude AI to the test with an accessibility review… here’s how it performed. I ran a first-pass accessibility review using Claude AI using just a screenshot and a structured prompt. It quickly flagged concerns I could iterate on with actionable feedback. ⭐️ I rated Claude 5 stars in my UX AI Toolbox because: • It flagged multiple accessibility risks across static screens • It gave me actionable, contextual suggestions • It helped me iterate quickly and improve my design • It explained why fixing it matters, which will help improve accessibility thinking over time it helped me ship more inclusive designs faster. Using AI for quick usability feedback (mid-sprint style!) Need a fast gut check on usability when you’re mid-sprint? Here’s a lightweight method I’ve found helpful: My quick process: • Grab a screenshot of your UI/mockup • Scrub it! Remove logos or anything confidential* • Upload it to your company approved AI chat tool • Ask it to review using Nielsen’s usability principles • Use the feedback to tighten your design before reviews *Heads up: Always treat screenshots as sensitive. Strip out any identifying info before sending it to an external tool. Why I do this: It’s a quick way to catch obvious issues before they snowball into bigger, more expensive rework. AI isn’t replacing my UX design expertise, but it IS a helpful second set of “eyes” during fast-paced builds. If you’re using AI this way, it might be worth creating team guidelines so reviews stay consistent across projects.
