Like all Vera Care Centers, this center reflects our commitment to delivering whole-person, value-based care to more than 6,800 union members and their families. With same- and next-day appointments, integrated care teams, health coaching, and physical therapy, Local 872 members now have access to a truly personalized healthcare experience. We’re excited to announce that Marla B. McLaughlin, MD has been appointed Chief Medical Officer at apree health, overseeing our Castlight Health and Vera Whole Health brands. Dr. McLaughlin has been an integral part of our organization since 2019, bringing deep clinical expertise and a passion for value-based care to every role she’s held—from regional lead physician to associate CMO. As a practicing family medicine doctor and experienced leader, she’s helped improve clinical quality, support our care teams and drive better outcomes for the people we serve. In her new role, Dr. McLaughlin will lead our clinical team and oversees clinical care quality, centralized clinical services, and partnerships with community providers as we continue to expand our digital navigation and advanced primary care offerings.
