This week VetsinTech was honored to participate in the National Forum to Advance Entrepreneurship hosted by the Institute for Veterans and Military Families - IVMF at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. Our COO, 🌍 Ikram Mansori, joined leaders from other veteran service organizations, policymakers, and private-sector partners (J.P. Morgan, Fiserv, and others) to address both the challenges and opportunities facing veteran entrepreneurs. Key topics included: • Changes in the federal contracting environment and their impact on VOSBs and SDVOSBs • The growing role of private-sector opportunities alongside government contracting • The need for better connectivity, collaboration, and long-term support for veteran and military spouse founders • Policy shifts that could expand veteran set-asides but also reduce other small-business categories Events like this are a critical forum for aligning advocacy, resources, and partnerships to ensure veterans and military spouses continue to have strong pathways to start and grow businesses. cc: Katherine Webster, 🌍 Ikram Mansori, Oliver Muoto, Johanna Tillman, Cami Hough, Michael Pett, Craig Newmark... #Veterans #VIT #Entrepreneurship #SmallBusiness #VetsInTech #IVMF #VeteranOwnedBusiness
