We’re Volo Sports, and we’re glad you’re here! While we started as a small bocce league in Baltimore, we have grown to multiple US cities. We believe in the power of sports to create community and endeavor to positively impact our cities through free kids’ sports programming with the Volo Kids Foundation  Through sports leagues, pickups, events, Volo Pass, and our new Club Volo venues, we have something for everyone!

Game on! ⚡️🏅 Greenberg Traurig’s kickball team, Torts Illustrated, brought their A-game in a spirited showdown against Unbranded Sausage Luau, ending with a 13-7 score. Outnumbered 3-to-1, the GT crew showed grit, teamwork, and sportsmanship, with everyone contributing on the field and even hitting the max runs in one inning! We’re proud to support Volo Sports, an organization that unites communities through the power of play, creating opportunities for both adults and youth to thrive. With every game, Volo’s mission to foster compassion and connection takes center stage, and we’re honored to contribute to that vision. If you told me a year ago I’d be playing pickleball twice a week with strangers in Somerville… …I would’ve laughed in your face. But here’s what I’ve learned as a former tennis player turned reluctant fan: 1. It’s a booster for mental health: I walk + read on the way there 2. It reminds me I’m a person, not just a business owner 3. Most importantly: It’s the only time all week I let myself play Business owners — when was the last time you played without trying to win? The Volo Kids Team had an amazing time at the 2025 #ProjectPlay Summit, hosted by Aspen Institute Sports & Society! It was inspiring to hear from panelists and speakers who are reimagining the future of youth sports and working toward the goal of 63x30—ensuring 63% of youth participate in sports by 2030. Volo Kids is proud to support these efforts by breaking down barriers and making sports accessible for all. This initiative marks a key step in unlocking the #PowerOfPlay for every kid, everywhere! We were thrilled to connect with other organizations tackling these challenges and collaborating on real solutions. You may be asking yourself is this a real photo and the answer is yes. Enter in the chat one of the crazier ideas our team pulled off. In partnership with Volo Sports we dropped over 3,000 foam stress balls from the catwalk down onto the turf. Volo members got the exclusive opportunity to come onto the floor to play real life "Hungry Hungry Hippos" for prizes. 5 winners won a complimentary Volo Annual Pass, but everyone who participated left everyone else in a serious state of FOMO. Huge shoutout to the Volo Staff, members, and Seals staff who made this idea a reality. Wait until you see what we have in store for the next Volo halftime!

We kicked off our first ever Volo Women’s Walk Club on Saturday, January 4th with over 150 women showing up in San Diego! Huge shoutout to our event partners: Molly’s Mission Beach, IRL SD, and SD Girls Run who helped make the day full of fun with coffee, fun times and helping build connections! We’re beyond excited to run this back on the 18th -this time we’re teaming up with Babe Kombucha and Mocktail & Mingle for a fun twist!
