The Zaki family recently began their new life in Iowa thanks to the hard work of No One Left Behind, support from the Welcome.US Sponsor Fund, and the compassion of the Pattons and their sponsorship group. When policy changes ended a Welcome Corps sponsorship opportunity, Jane Patton didn’t sit in her disappointment—she did whatever she could to provide her support elsewhere. After discovering the opportunity to sponsor Afghan Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders, their sponsor group went to work. By April, they welcomed the Zaki family. Through the kindness of their community, the Zakis are now thriving: starting school, finding jobs, and adjusting to their new home. 👉Read their full inspiring story here: https://lnkd.in/eBr3JFWP 📣Learn more about the Welcome.US Sponsor Fund opportunity: https://lnkd.in/er75YBnf
