We had an incredible time at the Health Plan Accelerator Summit at Medica Headquarters—connecting with innovators shaping the future of health and sharing results from our work with one of our health plan partners. 💡 Our team was proud to share how WellTheory is transforming autoimmune care and to learn from others driving meaningful impact across the ecosystem. Grateful to the World 50 Accelerator team and partners who made this event possible.

📢 Big news from WellTheory: We’ve raised $14M in Series A funding led by General Catalyst. Autoimmune disease affects 50M+ Americans and is one of the fastest-growing and most expensive areas in healthcare. Yet many autoimmune patients are left to navigate fragmented, one-size-fits-all care that aims to mask instead of heal. That’s why we’re building something different: personalized, whole-person, root-cause care that’s powered by AI and delivered with compassion. With this raise, we’ll expand access to our revolutionary care model, deepen our work with employers and payors, and continue building what we’ve always believed possible: a better way to care for autoimmune disease. To our team and investors: thank you for believing in this vision. To our members: thank you for entrusting us with your health and for reminding us why this work matters every day. Read more here: welltheory.com/seriesa P.S. We’re growing fast and hiring across teams. If you feel called to our mission and driven by grit, resilience, and a belief that change happens when people refuse to accept the status quo — we’d love to meet you: https://lnkd.in/gM2Xwewg

We’re proud to share that WellTheory has been selected to join the Milken Institute Health's inaugural Women’s Health Network, represented by our CEO and Co-Founder, Ellen Rudolph. Chaired by former First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, this new, cross-sector network is bringing together leaders across research, policy, and innovation to accelerate progress in women’s health. At WellTheory, this work is personal. Autoimmune diseases disproportionately affect women, yet remain underdiagnosed, misunderstood, and largely invisible in traditional healthcare models. We’re honored to contribute our voice—and the voices of the members we serve—to a national conversation about what women’s health can truly become when it’s treated as a priority, not an afterthought.
The Milken Institute is pleased to welcome 75 organizations as founding members of the Women’s Health Network. Chaired by former First Lady Jill Biden and governed by a Steering Committee, the Network serves as a global collaborative that collates, elevates, and advances existing and new efforts in women’s health research and innovation. We look forward to working with leaders from these organizations across diverse sectors in the women’s health ecosystem to advance partnerships and mobilize resources. Benefit strategy is shifting — and not just because of rising costs. According to WTW, 90% of U.S. employers say rising benefit costs will shape their strategy in 2025. But many aren’t just cutting back — they’re rebalancing: investing in high-impact, cost-effective solutions that actually improve employee health and retention. Autoimmune disease is one of the fastest-growing — and most expensive — drivers of health costs in today’s workforce. At WellTheory, we’re proud that our research, conducted in partnership with the Integrated Benefits Institute, was featured in this HR Dive piece, highlighting how autoimmune conditions are driving up pharmacy spend, disability claims, and more. If you're rethinking your approach to supporting this population, we’d love to share what we’ve learned. 📖 Read the full article via HR Dive: https://lnkd.in/eTCZCCZV

Too many women living with chronic illness have been told, “It’s all in your head.” In this new Forbes piece, our CEO Ellen Rudolph shares how her own experience with medical dismissal led to the founding of WellTheory — and why we’ve built a care model that starts with listening. At WellTheory, we believe that feeling seen, heard, and believed shouldn’t be a luxury. It should be the standard. 📖 Read the full story: https://lnkd.in/gv47GA-y
