When Kathleen's uncle was admitted to West Anaheim Medical Center, her family was understandably anxious. But from the very beginning, they felt reassured by the care and compassion shown by the staff. Mike (Respiratory Therapist), Nurse James, Nurse Christian, Dr. Abdallah, and Sue, the clinical educator, all played pivotal roles in her uncle's recovery. Kathleen recalled how Sue stood out in particular—always ensuring the team was coordinated and attentive to every detail, providing the family with peace of mind during a stressful time. This dedicated team worked seamlessly together, always focused on delivering the best possible care. Their guidance, expertise, and genuine concern helped Kathleen's family feel supported, informed, and comforted. Thanks to their teamwork and commitment, Kathleen's uncle not only recovered but was able to return home. In her words, they are "superstars that deserve recognition." A heartfelt thank you to all our dedicated staff for making Hospital Week a memorable celebration with our Fiesta Theme. We kicked off the week with delicious cinnamon rolls and coffee to honor our DAISY award recipients. Tuesday brought tasty chips, salsa, and refreshing mocktails, followed by sweet churros on Wednesday. Thursday was all about gratitude with gift distributions and exciting spinning wheel prize games. We wrapped up the week with a complimentary taco meal complemented by delicious tres leches cake for dessert. Thank you for going above and beyond to serve our patients and community!
