It's a wrap for COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2025! 🎉 This week, at one of the top global Al and innovation events, we showcased our HDD and Platform solutions—unveiling what's next for data infrastructure in a fast-changing, data-driven world.   At our booth, we presented the OpenFlex© Data 24 NVMe-oF data storage platform and Ultrastar® Data102 hybrid storage platform, purpose-built for today's cloud-scale, disaggregated environments. Visitors also got an up-close look at our cutting-edge RapidFlex™ NVMe-oF controllers and the Ultrastar® Transporter, both designed to power high-performance, scalable data architectures.    Beyond the exhibition, we were thrilled to meet and chat with customers, partners, media friends, and visitors about the future of data technology. This included over 30 attendees from international media outlets across business, trade, and tech who had fruitful discussions with our representatives, Stefan Mandi, Vice President, Sales & Marketing for APJC, and Scott Hamilton, Senior Director, Product Management & Marketing. Customers first, quality always!

HDDs are essential to cloud data centers, but they contain rare earth elements that are difficult to recover through traditional recycling. That’s why we joined forces with Microsoft, Critical Materials Recycling (CMR), and PedalPoint Recycling & PedalPoint LifeCycle Solutions to develop a process that transforms end-of-life HDDs into high-value materials. The results: ~90% recovery of rare earth elements ~80% of feedstock recaptured for reuse ~95% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to mining - A scalable, domestic solution to reduce reliance on imported materials By rethinking how we recycle, we’re not just reducing waste.
