As Executive Vice President of the Doody Group, Doug oversaw European operations in the UK and France. As Director of Development and Marketing for Carriage Services, Doug helped develop and execute strategic planning initiatives. In 2014, he formed Gober Strategic Capital to broaden the range of counsel and resources he could bring to the death care industry.   • In this presentation, David G. Hicks showcases a variety of cosmetic and restorative treatments, particularly for trauma cases. He covers techniques for concealing simple ecchymoses and demonstrates basic cosmetic applications. The session also highlights the use of Necromantic Cosmetics and Oil-Based Cosmetics in treatment. By the end of the talk, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of these cosmetic techniques, along with insights into processes they may have forgotten or never attempted before.   About David Hicks: David has been in funeral service for 30 years. Licensed in Ohio and Kentucky, David worked 10 years as a funeral director embalmer at two Cincinnati funeral homes. In 2002 David moved into the classroom where he spent 9 years teaching mortuary science courses. Hicks started with Pierce Chemical in 2011 as a sales representative. At Pierce Chemical, Hicks is able to draw on his experience in the field and classroom to educate, train and solve problems today’s embalmer and funeral director face. Hicks has earned the respect and friendship of clients all over the US and abroad.
