This will be our first in-person UK member event of the year, offering a valuable opportunity for members to connect, share experiences, and strengthen our community presence in the region. The event will take place at Soho House White City, a central and iconic media hub in London. The venue features a stage, bar, and full AV setup and can accommodate up to 50 attendees. Target Audience: Women working in streaming, broadcast, and technology sectors in the UK and members of the Women in Streaming Media network based in or near London Sponsorship: We are seeking £5,000 total sponsorship to cover venue hire, catering and all the other expenses that come with running an event such as this. We are delighted to celebrate Josh SEELEY as our latest #Ally of the Month! Last month, Josh delivered an inspiring presentation where he explored how allyship and inclusion are shaping the next wave of innovation across video and technology. He reminded us that true #allyship begins with listening, amplifying others, and creating spaces where every voice belongs. By highlighting the importance of representation and community while addressing the ongoing gender gap in tech, Josh demonstrated why diversity is not only the right thing to do, but it’s essential for driving innovation. His commitment to embedding inclusion and his belief that culture only thrives when diversity is at the core perfectly reflect the values we champion at Women in Streaming Media. 👏 Please join us in celebrating Josh for his dedication to allyship and his work to build a more inclusive media and technology landscape. 🎉 A huge congratulations to our very own Josh SEELEY - named Ally of the Month by Women in Streaming Media! Last month, Josh delivered an incredible presentation, “Talent, Diversity & the Future of Media Tech”, exploring how inclusion and allyship are shaping the next generation of innovation in video and technology. As Associate Director of 5V Video, Josh leads with a simple belief: culture only thrives when diversity is at the core. His presentation reflected that, taking the audience through his journey from sports leadership to supporting a global recruitment brand (5V Video), to why true allyship starts with listening, amplifying others, and creating spaces where everyone belongs. In his talk, Josh highlighted: 🌍 The power of representation and community, with groups like Women in Streaming Media and Rise driving real change. 💬 How inclusion must begin at the first point of contact in recruitment. 📊 The ongoing gender gap in tech, where women make up just 21% of teams and less than 5% of leadership roles. ⚡ The link between diversity and innovation, because if we keep asking the same group for ideas, we’ll keep getting the same answers. 👏 We couldn’t be prouder to see Josh’s dedication recognised by Women in Streaming Media, an organisation doing incredible work to champion representation and elevate women, and allies, across the industry. Here’s to continuing to build a media landscape that celebrates every voice and challenges the status quo. #WomenInStreamingMedia #IBCEurope #DiversityInTech #Inclusion #Allyship #Streaming #MediaTech #VideoIndustry #5VVideo Laurence HODGSON I Dan BURRELL I Tom WHITE I Kenny NEWBURY I Isaac KNIGHT I Steph PARSONS I Georgia HARRIS-EVERITT I 5Values | Certified B Corp™
