Wood Partners announced today the start of construction on The Edgewater, a 328-unit, Class-A multifamily development overlooking Lake Fairview in Orlando, Florida. Wood Partners closed on the property in August. The community is part of the company’s attainable housing initiative, offering upscale living at cost-effective rates. “With its lake frontage, adjacency to community parks and convenience to some of Greater Orlando’s leading employment hubs, shopping and dining destinations, this location is certain to appeal to a broad range of renters seeking a high-quality, attainable housing option,” said Bryan Borland, Executive Managing Director at Wood Partners. “Capitalizing on this dynamic, lakefront location, we’ve envisioned a community that exemplifies our commitment to Improving People’s Lives by Creating Better Communities.” The Edgewater will feature a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, with 56 of the 328 units directly facing the water. Wood Partners has expanded its presence in Phoenix with the opening of Alta 87 in Gilbert, Arizona, a suburb southeast of the city. This marks the company’s third community in the region and the Town’s first with a structured parking garage. “The opening of Alta 87 marks an important milestone for Wood Partners as we continue to expand our footprint in the fast-growing Phoenix market,” said Todd Taylor, Managing Director at Wood Partners. “With strong demand for high-quality housing in the Southeast Valley, this community delivers a best-in-class living experience while contributing to the area’s ongoing growth and vitality. Wood Partners announces its latest community, Alta River Park, located in Fort Worth, Texas. The multifamily community is set to break ground this month and deliver to the community in the summer of 2027. “Fort Worth continues to experience strong demand for high-quality, well-located housing,” said Ryan Miller, managing director for DFW at Wood Partners. “Alta River Park reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering thoughtfully designed communities that enhance both lifestyles and connectivity for our residents.” Alta River Park will encompass 365 units, including a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts. Wood Partners officially broke ground on Alta Flatirons in Superior, Colorado, a suburb adjacent to the City of Boulder and just 30 minutes outside of Denver. The project is slated to deliver to the community in April 2027. At the groundbreaking ceremony, the Wood Partners team was joined by representatives of the Town of Superior, the design team and many of the project contractors. Located in the heart of downtown Superior, Alta Flatirons offers easy walking access to retail, recreation and a town plaza which hosts a variety of events throughout the year. The community is the last multifamily parcel in the Downtown Superior Masterplan, a 156-acre mixed-use project encompassing a blend of homes, offices, retail, dining, lodging, entertainment and gathering spaces. Wood Partners and its partner ParkProperty Capital (PPC) announced today the start of construction on a 336-unit multifamily development in Hutto, Texas, a suburb outside of Austin. Located off of Ed Schmidt Boulevard, the new community offers residents suburban living with access to urban conveniences, including the Co-Op District, Bushy Creek Amphitheater, a curated selection of retail and restaurants and more.
