Regardless of where we stand politically, those who claim faith in Christ must not join the chorus of disparagement toward those for whom God has passionate affection! Instead, we must allow God’s zeal to spark zeal in us.

For over 45 years, World Relief Western Washington has partnered with the U.S. Government, local churches and communities, resettled 1,578 refugees in 2024 alone and provided life-changing aid for refugees and immigrants in Western Washington. This week, federal funding for these life-changing programs has been cut abruptly and unexpectedly, creating a devastating funding gap for World Relief Western Washington and hundreds of our peer organizations. We now face unimaginable odds in ensuring malnourished children are fed, pregnant mothers are receiving adequate maternal health services and refugees here in the U.S. are receiving the food and shelter they were promised.
