Here at Worn & Wound, we love a good lookbook. To mark the recent 80th anniversary of V-J Day, we partnered with Praesidus Watch Co to create a striking campaign for their new Victory Watch collection. Known for drawing inspiration from WWII timepieces, Praesidus has now brought that ethos to a dress watch—echoing what returning soldiers might have worn after the war. The Worn & Wound Creative Services team blended B&W and color photography with timeless wardrobe, props, and locations to bridge eras, making the watch feel both contemporary and nostalgic all at once. https://lnkd.in/e775ccdv

Our friend, colleague, and founder of Vortic Watch Co, RT Custer, needs our support. After a sudden medical emergency earlier this summer, RT and his family face a long road to recovery. As a result, there is significant uncertainty around the future of Vortic Watch Co and its sister brand Colorado Watch Co, not to mention the physical, mental, and financial hardship that comes with any major medical event. A GoFundMe has been started, with funds going to support RT’s recovery, covering medical bills and long-term neuro rehab, while he’s unable to work for at least a year. We hope you'll consider donating. Last week, we turned our Brooklyn showroom into a 40-seat screening room for the premiere of Giles—a short film about building a watch from scratch in NYC—followed by a live Q&A with the director, Taylor Scott Mason, and watchmaker, Giles Clement. The packed house reinforced what this space is built for: cultural moments that bring watch enthusiasts and brands together. Brands interested in screenings, panels, workshops, or launches should reach out to our Head of Partnerships, Kyle Snarr. https://lnkd.in/ex8zpRXt

The watch industry loves to cast itself as a player in the world’s most serious adventures, whether it’s scaling the tallest peaks, covering vast distances, or diving to record depths. And while those feats are inspiring, the extreme self-seriousness can sometimes feel a bit excessive, especially when you remember these mechanical marvels aren’t exactly mission-critical anymore. So when Citizen approached us to help showcase the 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Promaster Aqualand at this year’s Windup Watch Fair Chicago—complete with an actual lake dive—we decided to take a different route. Instead of going with a full tactical operator approach, we pitched an ‘80s-inspired dive trip to celebrate a watch that made its debut four decades ago. Citizen Watch America was all in, and the rest is history, set to synth-heavy tunes and neon-soaked vibes. If you're ready to swap stoic for some fun in your next campaign, drop a line to Kyle Snarr, Head of Partnerships at Worn & Wound Creative Services. P.S. We double-dog dare you to spot all the hidden '80s lyric easter eggs in this recap. https://lnkd.in/g6xvAD67

At Worn & Wound, we often talk about the difference between aspiration and inspiration. Mass watch campaigns tend to focus on the aspirational. Think epic expeditions, world records, and extremes, which work well for the general public. But enthusiasts respond to inspiration. They want to know: What can I do with my watch this weekend? At Worn & Wound Creative Services, we spotlight real people doing cool things with their watches. We create relatable stories that help your audience see themselves with your product. Our recent work with Hamilton Watch's Khaki Collection brought this to life. While their ‘Step Outside’ campaign speaks to big aspirations, we created complementary content featuring three enthusiasts enjoying approachable, real-world adventures on land, sea, and air. Want to add inspiring stories to your aspirational campaigns? Contact our Head of Partnerships, Kyle Snarr. https://lnkd.in/eB6aTMgj

Have a brand ambassador creating amazing content, but unsure how to showcase it beyond your own site and social channels? Worn & Wound Creative Services can help. We love amplifying your quality, ambassador-driven stories across the entire Worn & Wound digital ecosystem. That’s exactly what we did with Fortis, a well-established tool watch brand, and their ambassador Niklas Marc Heinecke. Niklas, a photographer and explorer, took the Fortis Marinemaster M-40 on his latest expedition through Iceland. We brought that story to life within our flagship branded content series, Tool/Kit. The best part? Because Tool/Kit is an established franchise designed specifically for branded storytelling, our audience knows to expect thoughtful brand integration. As a result, Fortis reached a new, highly-engaged audience, and Niklas gained a whole new group of fans and followers in the process. If you're ready to amplify your ambassadors’ stories to an audience of true enthusiasts, reach out to our Head of Partnerships Kyle Snarr. https://lnkd.in/ez74PDGA

Proud to share our latest Enthusiast Spotlight featuring filmmaker Van Neistat, whose passion for purposeful, built-to-last tools aligns perfectly with what we’re all about at Worn & Wound. As Van put it in his conversation with Kyle Snarr - "I have a weakness for things that are meant to endure." Kyle first spotted Van wearing a Marathon Watch in one of his videos and reached out to see if there was an opportunity to collaborate. One thing led to another, and together with Marathon Watch Company Ltd., we created something we’re really proud of. What makes this project special is the audience we’re reaching. Van’s community includes plenty of watch lovers—but also people who just care deeply about the tools they trust every day. For us, that’s the sweet spot - we’re always looking for ways to grow the watch community by connecting people through shared values—quality, purpose, and great stories. Huge shoutout to Kyle for pulling this project together—this really couldn’t have happened without his vision and instinct. I’m not sure there’s anyone else in the watch space who could’ve connected the dots quite like this. Big thanks as well to Martin Cohen and Mitchell Wein at Marathon and Van for jumping in with such enthusiasm. Grateful for the collaboration and excited about what we created together. https://lnkd.in/e3ANvKfp
