Change is possible ✨ The WTA Foundation is on a mission to close global women’s health gaps, starting with the life-threatening nutrition gap for moms. Every year, hundreds of thousands of preventable pregnancy-related deaths occur, with the vast majority happening in low and middle-income countries. These are lives we can save with simple, affordable solutions. In 2025, the WTA Foundation’s Global Women’s Health Fund raised funds to help support 1.5 million women with lifesaving health resources, and this year at the WTA Finals, we brought together a group of champions for women’s health to celebrate and discuss the future of this important work at the Champions for Women's Health Summit. Guests enjoyed a panel discussion hosted by Haya Sawan, Ons Jabeur, Marion BARTOLI, and Dr. Fatima AlhamIan that focused on the importance of women’s health and nutrition, and how we can work together as champions to drive impactful progress for women and mothers everywhere. The event also featured curated, nutritious food and beverages from local chef Marya Kayyal, as well as a tennis activation with Ons Jabeur. The women's health gap may seem insurmountable, but we have the solutions, the partnerships, and the momentum to make real progress. Everyone can be a Game Changer for women's health, whether that's raising awareness, contributing resources, or using your platform to advocate for equity. This isn't just about healthcare; it's about recognizing that in health, in sport, and in life, women everywhere deserve equal opportunity. A Finals to remember 🤩 As we look back on the last week of the 2025 WTA Finals Riyadh presented by Public Investment Fund (PIF), we are filled with gratitude for our amazing players, fans, and partners who made it possible. We saw a 20% increase in attendance across the week, including sold-out crowds for the semifinals and final, with players praising fans for the incredible atmosphere and vocal support. The week culminated in Elena Rybakina capturing her first WTA Finals title and the biggest prize money payout in women’s sports, earning $5.235 million, while Veronika Kudermetova and Elise Mertens won the doubles crown for the second time. It was a terrific end to the season, and we look forward to the third edition of the WTA Finals in Riyadh next year. 💫

A record-breaking Finals in Riyadh 💫 The 2025 WTA Finals Riyadh presented by PIF concluded on The Ultimate Stage with sold-out semifinals and finals, and attendance up 20% year over year. Champion Elena Rybakina captured her first WTA Finals title and made history with the biggest prize money payout in women’s sports, earning $5.235 million after an undefeated run through the tournament. In doubles, Veronika Kudermetova and Elise Mertens lifted the Martina Navratilova Trophy to cap an unforgettable week of world-class tennis. Beyond the court, the Finals showcased the WTA’s growing global impact through initiatives including the Champions of Tomorrow presented by PIF, the first WTA Coaches Conference in Riyadh, and the ACEing Cancer campaign, which raised $200,000 to support women’s cancer research, prevention, and treatment. Community engagement also took center stage, with a series of women’s leadership panels and over 60 events hosted in the past two years inspiring the next generation of players and encouraging more women and girls to take up the sport. This year’s activities included a training session for more than 100 female physical education teachers, a month-long series of Breast Cancer Survivor tennis clinics, a community coaches’ clinic, a continued partnership with Special Olympics, and a three-day workshop for 24 female coaches. Thank you to our incredible players, fans, and partners for making this season one to remember. The future of women’s tennis continues to shine brighter than ever ✨
