  • At CultureLab 360, we couldn’t agree more. Culture doesn’t start in boardrooms or offsites, it shows up in everyday corridor conversations. The small ones. The honest ones. The silent ones. The uncomfortable ones. That’s why our work starts with listening. Through 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐛, our signature series of bold conversations, we create space for teams to pause, reflect, and really hear one another. In these dialogues, people see how their everyday choices shape the culture they belong to and the one they want to build. Each of us has a part to play, and a shared responsibility to keep that culture positive, lived, and real. #ListeningLab #CultureAmplifiers #WorkplaceCulture Aarati (Kapila) Kumar Shilpi Singh

  • 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐛 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭: Debasish Das (HR Leader & Founder, Humanlinks Learning ) Operating across 15 countries in 4 continents taught Debashish one fact: even for multinational companies, there is no single “global” culture. People belong to a society, grow up, carry forward a cultural context, and they also bring that context to their workplace. Regional context is also extremely important in designing culture. Thanks, Debasish, for sharing interesting anecdotes from your experiences, particularly the M&A example: the consolidation of organizations to create a dominant service operator, and how visual messaging and clear rituals helped align two distinct cultures. Also pointing out that culture has its soft and hard sides: behavioural and physical representations. And when organizations want to amplify and ensure that every individual in the organization lives that culture, both these aspects need to be taken care of. And here comes the crucial link of mid-level managers, and the importance of them being aligned with the cultural values of the organization. This is where a lot of work has to be done to ensure that mid -level managers become the amplifier of the desired culture. Thank you, Debasish, for bringing your global experience to #ListeningLab. Join us in the next Listening Lab. We will announce the dates soon. #CultureAmplifiers #CultureLab360 Aarati (Kapila) Kumar Shilpi Singh

So leave the footprints you want to be recognised by. Too deep. Too soft . Too rushed. Too slow. Or paced one in front of the other with other footprints with you. Not behind you! #thursdaythoughts

Strategy may set the direction, but culture determines the speed, resilience, and sustainability of the journey. At CultureLab360, we help companies design cultures that don’t just follow strategy—they fuel it. There is a lot of talk about this quote but no one denies the relevance and importance. Today, more than ever, culture takes centre stage as companies navigate AI, hybrid work and 4 generations in the same work place. #cultureandAI #workplaceculture

  • At our first Listening Lab at CultureLab 360, we heard lived experiences of culture from both global firms and homegrown startups. One story that stayed with us was from Saurav Chawla, founder of OkayGo (later acquired by BetterPlace). He spoke about two defining phases of his journey: 🔹 As a young investment banker in the US (post-Kellogg), he faced cultural barriers at work. What broke those barriers? Consistent effort and showing up with his best work. In his words: you can win people over with your work. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘯 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘥𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘢𝘨-𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦.. 🔹 As a startup founder in India, Saurav believes culture must be led from the top. Leadership, he reminded us, isn’t about keeping things “hunky-dory.” When deadlines demand extra hours, people have to stretch. But equally, leaders must help the team recharge giving the next day off or finding ways to restore balance. 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵: 𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘰𝘵𝘩 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘺. Working with a Japanese partner further reinforced for him that trust, shared values, and aligned work ethics create the strongest cultural foundations. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲: 𝐘𝐞𝐬, 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦, 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐮𝐩 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐲. Hear this, and other insightful stories at our next 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐛. #ListeningLab #CultureAmplifiers #CultureLab360

Did you know? “The internal company culture will either enable your company to grow or it will rot it from the inside out.” Gary Vaynerchuck may have said it but many are working hard to be the employer your talent wants to "stick with". So here is a question for all you founders, senior leaders out there: what are the 3 traits your team members will most use to describe your company culture? Send in your comments or DM. Be reflective and as close to home as possible. #Cultureatwork #Culturehabits #founders #reflective CultureLab 360

  • Last week, we hosted our 1st first 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐚𝐛 at Quorum, Gurgaon. Led by founders Aarati (Kapila) Kumar and Shilpi Singh A big thanks to Harminder S Soni, who has been an amazing sounding board and who helped us with the venue. Despite the Gurgaon rains, all 8 seats at TBQ2.0 were filled by a diverse group of startup founders, HR leaders, talent heads, and consultants. It was interesting how connections and conversations unfolded through those couple of hours, just automatically aligning to the cultural foundation of #ListeningLab... we connect, we listen, we act. 𝐀 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐬, 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 4 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 - 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚, 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚, 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 Some felt deeply aligned with their organization’s values; others felt distant. One person saw altruism and shared purpose; another felt the same culture was not warm enough. Some thrive in collaborative settings, others in competitive ones. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔, 𝒘𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒘 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒏 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒚 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒆. And when everyone was talking over each other, Dr. Pradnya Parasher quietly pointed out: “This too is a culture marker.” That shifted the rest of the conversation :-) And so many new questions opened up: 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰 𝘸𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘎𝘦𝘯 𝘡 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘈𝘭𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘴, 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴? 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘉𝘢𝘣𝘺 𝘉𝘰𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘵 60? 𝘚𝘰 𝘋𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘈𝘨𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘢𝘴 𝘨𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵 𝘶𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦? 𝘈𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘯𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦, 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘢 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺, 𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘢 𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘮? Listening Lab is not a solutioning space. It's a brave space  to listen, to learn, to collect and connect the dots. Stay tuned, we will soon announce the next edition of Listening Lab. CultureLab 360
