Sometimes we’re going at such a fast pace solving complex problems, anticipating customer needs, and refining processes, that we don’t get a moment to pause and celebrate. This week YETI we were able to come together as a global outdoor brand and celebrate our achievements and each other. Trailblazers Week is one of my favorite times of year. This year kicked it out of the park. To YETI Thank you for being such a great place to call home. I am not the best at accepting praise - especially in front of 1300 people, in a stadium type situation. I’ve always been a support from the crowd kind of girl. Well. Annually, YETI host “Trailblazers” where global teams come together at HQ to celebrate the incredible talent we have. When I saw my name listed as a finalist for ‘Authenticity and Innovation’, I was like “there is NO way I can win, but I’m stoked to be recognised” - that was pretty much my mindset up until hearing Bill Neff say my name on stage. I could list off all of the achievements (big and small) that this little UK (and now, larger NL/DE) team have achieved - but I wouldn’t even know where to start. Of course, we encounter challenges, frustrations, disagreements and there’s a lot of cultural alignment that we all have to adjust to, but ultimately ALL of those things make us better, and help us make YETI relevant regionally. I always knew YETI was my place, I can’t explain it - it feels like it just fits. What I didn’t know is that I would meet people that would form who I am as a marketer. Bill Neff sits at the top of that list. For those who have the opportunity to work, hear or meet Bill, you KNOW. I fully believe there is no finer leader to take YETI on this international journey, whilst still ensuring we don’t lose who we are at our core. I’m headed back to the UK full of gratitude. We wrapped the wonderful Trailblazers week at YETI! I was honored to be a finalist and receive a Trailblazer award in front of the 1300 strong team of Yetizens. I said it on Friday, but I’ll say it again here. I love my job. I love what I do. Above all, I am so lucky and privileged to do it amongst a group of really incredible people.

This year I was honored with winning the YETI Trailblazer award for Improvement! It was a great week spending time with coworkers from all over the globe leading up to our Trailblazer event and awards ceremony. The past 4 years with my work family at the Innovation Center have been incredible. I can’t wait to see what the future holds! Congrats to all the other Trailblazer winners this year!

This post is long overdue. I’m sure other colleagues at YETI can relate but I’m still recovering from Trailblazers. What a week, y’all. Not only did I get to catch up with colleagues from around the globe and celebrate our achievements but ended up being a Trailblazer Finalist for the Extra Mile award. Truly still in awe and so thankful for the nominations. But I gotta give a shoutout to the performance marketing team led by Daniel Head. There’s no way I would have been a finalist if it weren’t for them. This is by far the best team I have ever been a part of and I wouldn’t want it any other way. We’re a well oiled machine and I feel like we’re just getting started. It’s easy going the extra mile when you love what you do and the people you work with. So thank you for the recognition, YETI!
