Nearly 30 students, scholars, and faculty from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University—representing disciplines such as biology, computer science, chemistry, nanoengineering, mathematics, and physics—participated in and completed the HBCU QISE (Quantum Information Science and Engineering) Short Course at the Yale Quantum Institute (YQI) this week.
In addition, we successfully hosted the NCA&T ExpandQISE 2025 Annual Meeting!
NC A&T’s QISE Research Workforce Development Programs are dedicated to building a robust pipeline of talent in quantum information science, especially within the HBCU community. These programs engage participants at all levels—from undergraduate students to faculty—fostering interdisciplinary expertise and preparing the next generation of quantum scientists and engineers.
Special thanks to the YQI at Yale University for generously hosting this impactful event. Florian Carle, Raymond Samuel, Stefan M. Cooper, Jr., Seong Tae Kim, Binglin Li
