Earlier this year TRESU and Stephan Plenz joined the association International Packaging Group, IPG Association to share and provide flexo printing press insights to IPG - and last week, IPG gathered for the Annual General Meeting, hosted by Zumbiel Packaging in Cincinnati, Ohio. Zumbiel Packaging, the oldest packaging company in the United States with a legacy spanning over 180 years, operates a 500,000 sq ft facility in Hebron, Kentucky, and stands as one of the largest independent suppliers of multi-pack beverage cartons in the USA with an ongoing commitment to reinvest in operational excellence. During the meeting the IPG members took a closer look at Zumbiel’s latest investment: The TRESU Flexo Innovator Dual Ink Deck. The 67” wide, high-speed flexographic press enables high-volume HD production with minimum make-ready time and waste - and the ability to change job on the fly. Boasting a total of 9 printing units - 7 Double ink Decks & 2 Single ink Deck units - Zumbiel's new press offers significantly added converting capacity, and expands Zumbiel’s ability to deliver high-quality, sustainable packaging at scale. Stephan Plenz, CEO TRESU: "I'm so proud to be part of the team to get this wonderful machine out in the market. A big thank-you to Ed Zumbiel for his trust and encouragement, this installation is a milestone for Zumbiel Packaging, for TRESU, and for the #foldingcarton industry!" TRESU is looking forward to our membership of IPG - we are sure this will be of mutual benefit and are looking forward to share and add valuable expertise and flexo printing press experience and knowledge to the growing community of IPG. What an honor it was to welcome the International Packaging Group, IPG Association to Zumbiel last week! Founded in 1963, the IPG brings together leading folding carton producers and packaging equipment innovators from around the world. With members from over 20 countries, the group meets regularly to exchange ideas, share innovations, and shape the future of packaging. This year, we had the privilege of hosting the 63rd Annual General Meeting at Zumbiel, giving members the chance to connect in person. Bringing the group onsite to Zumbiel for a plant tour was an excellent way to showcase how the many influences of IPG member companies have shaped Zumbiel's manufacturing process. Our time together featured global discussions on trends, AI, and automation, along with insightful presentations from members sharing emerging innovations, industry insights, and practical advice for peers. We also enjoyed giving our international guests a taste of Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us. The IPG's commitment to innovation is evident in every conversation and exchange of ideas. We’re grateful for the opportunity to collaborate, learn, and grow together. #ipgassociation #printing #packaging #foldingcartons #packaginginnovation

Big thanks to World of Golf, Florence KY for hosting our team for family day! Our Culture & Engagement Team organizes events every few months to celebrate our people and strengthen our culture. Family members play an important role in supporting our team, so it’s special to include them in the fun and show our appreciation. Great teams aren’t built in the workplace alone. An evening of mini golf, golf simulators, live music, and dinner was the perfect way to connect across departments and spend time together outside of work. With new printing technology being added to support growth, capacity, and efficiency, the hard work and dedication from our team has been especially remarkable. This family day was a great opportunity to relax, connect, and celebrate the people who make it all possible.
