“Amog did a stellar job during his internship at Uber. In just 3 months he implemented a search-ability feature on top of Uber Knowledge Graph. As a self learner, Amog quickly developed hands on experience with kafka, spark and elastic search from scratch. He meticulously argued pros and cons of different solutions in his design document, made the right decision on which one to use and delivered working solution comfortably. Perhaps Amog's most distinguishing skill at this stage of his career is his ability to learn and execute on engineering problems on his own. That is a rare skill to find among recent grads. Furthermore Amog's coding skills are excellent, he came up with well designed interfaces and efficient implementations. Amog also has a very helpful personality, he doesn't mind going great lengths to make others life easier. Overall I have no doubts that Amog will be very successful at whichever direction he decides to go (whether it is industry or academia). I really enjoyed working with Amog and I'd recommend him to any employer. ”
