This patent combines the use of distributed market data and distributed order flow to determine the current risk profile of an entity in real-time. If it determines that an entity has exceeded its allowable limits - this invention will signal the appropriate liquidity destination to terminate the appropriate communications session which in turn causes the liquidity destination to cancel all open orders for that communications session. This invention allows disparate order systems to be…
This patent combines the use of distributed market data and distributed order flow to determine the current risk profile of an entity in real-time. If it determines that an entity has exceeded its allowable limits - this invention will signal the appropriate liquidity destination to terminate the appropriate communications session which in turn causes the liquidity destination to cancel all open orders for that communications session. This invention allows disparate order systems to be controlled by the invention while not requiring that all orders flow through the invention.
