How can you make a transition from a career in journalism to public relations?
When I think about what's made me successful, and what's made applicants stand out when I made hires, it's always the ability to know what makes a good story and how to tell it. Journalists can do this better than most! Add the writing skills you clearly possess, and you're set up to shine in an interview. Highlighting your ability to work under deadline, your doggedness in gathering information to round out your story, and how you collaborated with others to make it happen will make you an appealing candidate.
