KidsAnd Cars.org works on the dangers of frontover, backover, power window strangulation, heat stroke, trunk entrapment injuries and deaths. KidsAndCars.org was the first organization to recognize the importance of data collection for deaths of children in and around cars and has been active in changing regulations worldwide to protect children.

Primary area of expertise is education of community of heat stroke dangers when children are left in cars. Became active in changing State laws for Hawaii, Cameron Gulbranson Safety Transportation Act of 2008, and numerous city ordinances in AZ and OK. Hawaii State law in 2007 was signed in honor of daughter Aslyn Paige Ryan who was inadvertently left in a hot car in 2004 when her sitter was running errands. -
