Mr. Benway served as the surety’s consultant on a defaulted military housing project at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The project involves the demolition and new construction of 71 officer housing units located on the base. Mr. Benway provided investigative services for the surety, and upon the principal’s termination, managed a re-bidding process of the project for the surety.

Mr. Benway served as the surety’s consultant on this multi-phased $32M office building project in which the general contractor went out of business. The project entailed the renovation of an existing warehouse/commissary into an office building. Vertex’s scope involved the supervision of building envelope studies and repairs, window replacement, roofing repairs, and the restoration of water-damaged interior spaces.
