Founded in 1992, Thursday Network is comprised of more than 130 young professionals committed to serving the Washington Metropolitan area through community programs and partnership that address the five-point thrust of the NULYP. The mission of TN is to provide a forum for young adults, ages 21 - 40, to focus their energies on community service, professional development, and political involvement.

The Personal and Professional Development (PPD) Committee provides a forum where members from various professional backgrounds can share and exchange ideas, both professionally and personally. Though an array of programs and events, members discuss topics such as financial planning, local and national politics, entrepreneurship, career enhancement skills, and physical and mental health. In addition, the PPD committee also provides guest speakers for Thursday Network General Body meetings, and organizes the annual retreat.
