  • Cross-Country Bike Trek for Charity (3,600 miles, Coast-to-Coast)

    -

Bicycled over 3,600 miles from San Francisco, CA to Washington DC in 67 days while raising over $5,000 in the process for charity (Journey of Hope). All proceeds went to organizations focused on people with disabilities.
Crossing Kirkland mountain near South Lake Tahoe was the toughest day of the trip (over 100 miles predominately uphill). Denver was brutal because of the altitude. The Appalachian mountains had it's challenges. But the biggest barrier I overcame was the mental block…

Designed the UX for the current-generation infotainment first featured in the '17 Subaru Impreza, from a "paper napkin sketch" to the final production specs. Leveraged market research, JD Power & CR rankings, and past consumer data to build an infotainment system optimized for consumer satisfaction. Its fair to say, we succeeded.

"One thing I would like to say is that Subaru has been really weak and behind the 8-ball is in the infotainment system. With this one, I think they are right up there with the best infotainment screens with a clear screen, nice buttons, and quick response. Its very very well done." – Consumer Reports (Talking Cars Podcast)

"And speaking of infotainment, it’s hard to overstate what a big leap forward this system is for Subaru. It was intuitive, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make using the system as simple as using your smartphone. Those who looked at Subarus but shied away because of outdated, limited-capability systems compared to the Chevrolets and Hyundais of the world can no longer dismiss Impreza for that reason." – Motor Trend
