Miami Dade College is partnering with the Mark Cuban Foundation for the 4th consecutive year to offer a no-cost AI Bootcamp to high school students in Miami. The AI Bootcamp will give students hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI tools, including generative AI, while exploring real-world applications in fields such as healthcare, arts, business, computer science, sports science, and career readiness. Students will also complete a capstone project under the guidance of industry mentors. The program is open to students in grades 9–12 and will take place over three consecutive Saturdays at MDC's AI Centers on North and Wolfson Campuses – November 1, 8, and 15, 2025 – from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Applications for the bootcamp are open until September 30. To qualify, businesses must have earned at least $25,000 in 2024, show a clear need for funding and coaching, and commit to attending a virtual Boost Camp in fall 2025. A total of 63 grants will be awarded, with 250 entrepreneurs selected for the 12-week coaching program. Students from Miami Dade College recently teamed up with four Miami startups through our EPIC (Employer-Provided Innovation Challenges) program in partnership with Miami Tech Works to gain hands-on experience and apply their skills beyond the classroom. Over five weeks, they worked on projects like building #AI dashboards, redesigning websites, and developing scalable user systems.
