    As a member of the Casey's United Way Committee I led and implemented a new initiative for the campaign. This was a significant undertaking as it was a new event for Casey's and something I had prior experience with from a previous role. I took a leadership position and ensured deadlines were met and event prep was taken care of.

    As a member of the Casey's United Way Committee I led and implemented a new initiative for the campaign. This was a significant undertaking as it was a new event for Casey's and something I had prior experience with from a previous role. I took a leadership position and ensured deadlines were met and event prep was taken care of.

    The result of my efforts were a successful 5k in September of 2021. We raised $2,500 and created a new event to support the overall United Way Campaign for Casey's. This is a event that will continue for future years based on the positive feedback we received from participants.

    As a team leader I set up and communicated our Team Event to support Reggie's sleep out. This included creating a fundraising homepage and communicating our message out to raise funds. All proceeds benefited programs for transition aged youth at YSS and Iowa Homeless Youth Centers.
