Yes, I was in the High School band in the 5th grade (I have pictures to prove it). My 5 minutes of fame was marching in Jimmy Carter's Inauguration Parade. Who's Who Among American High School Students. Lettered 3 years in track. Earned 2 full ride music scholarships but instead enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard at 18.
