A key to successful omnichannel branding is to ensure that you have a simplified yet comprehensive style or branding guide addressing the specific elements (e.g., typography, color palette, logo rendering, etc.) and example applications for your channels. In some instances, you should describe your style standard (e.g., photography and imagery). Once you have clear standards, you’ll need to plan and execute an internal marketing campaign to ensure that all employees are aware of the brand standards and why consistency is critical. A challenge is maintaining an oversight mechanism to ensure universal compliance.

A great way to evaluate the success of sales training is for marketing leaders to periodically join a sales team member on a prospective client visit. It’s super valuable to hear how sales representatives deliver the company’s value proposition and communicate how the company’s values are aligned with those of the target organization and how this relationship would benefit the target organization. It’s also a great opportunity to hear first-hand about the prospect’s needs and pain points and how the sales representative articulates how your organization can offer solutions. Additionally, this type of feedback can assist in optimizing marketing collateral and may spark ideas for thought leadership content.
