Using the Cinema 4D renderer

- [Narrator] The Cinema 4D renderer in After Effects unlocks the ability to extrude text and shape layers, allowing you to create fully 3D text logos and curved 2D planes, all without needing any special hardware. With a single slider, you can control the quality and render settings while keeping your existing camera, lighting, and animation intact. The results are visually stunning and relatively quick to render, but there's a catch here. The output can sometimes look a bit synthetic because it lacks support for 3D models and physically based rendering. On top of that, the Cinema 4D renderer comes with a few restrictions. You won't be able to use effects, blending mode, layer styles, track mats or masks, motion blur, depth of field, light transmission, and the accept shadows-only mode aren't supported either.
