- [Instructor] Domain 1: Network Design. In Domain 1, there are several key tasks. In fact, there are six key task statements. Let's go ahead and walk through these key task statements. In Task 1, the goal is to design a solution that incorporates both edge network services to optimize user performance and traffic management for global architectures. What this means is you must have a knowledge of design patterns, also know about global traffic management, and also how to integrate patterns for content distribution networks. And finally, to evaluate requirements of global inbound and outbound traffic. In Task 2, you need to design DNS solutions that meet public, private, and hybrid requirements. This means you need to have knowledge of DNS protocols, such as DNSSECs. Also, you need to know DNS logging and monitoring. Also Amazon Route 53 and also how Route 53 integrates with other systems.
