- An important consideration is how to decide on an access strategy for your AWS account. There are a few important things to consider. To start with, here are some of the security best practices for AWS data protection. Are you actually paying attention to making sure that your account isn't giving people access to data they don't need to? Are you logging and monitoring your data? So for example, are you actually going through and looking at things like CloudTrail to make sure that you have all the API events? Do you have compliance validation? So are you doing third party auditors and are you using the security and compliance tools of AWS identity and access management, resilience as well? Are you using the global infrastructure to make sure your system is resilient? And infrastructure security, are you using AWS published API calls to access IM through the network and programmatically using things like IM HTTPS API?
