Now, let's talk about tools to track cost and usage. Let's start with the AWS Pricing Calculator. It is an online tool that allows you to estimate the cost of your solution. You can add the services you're likely to use with your solution, and it will show you the estimated costs per service and the totals. AWS Cost Explorer is a tool that allows you to view and analyze your costs and usage. It gives you a breakdown of costs incurred from every AWS service you use. It allows you to view data for up to the last 13 months and forecast how much you're likely to spend for the next 12 months. You can use filters to drill down to the details and download the data as a CSV file. AWS Budgets allows you to set a monthly cost budget with a fixed or variable target amount. AWS Budgets can alert you for actual and forecasted spending. Cost allocation tags allow you to categorize and track your AWS costs.
