Creating a health check in Route 53

- [Instructor] With an understanding of what route 53 health checks can do, let's get into the web console and create one. Here I am logged in at the main AWS console. I first need to navigate to route 53. I do so by simply typing route 53 in the filter box. Selecting the route 53 link takes me to the appropriate landing page. From here, I click on the health checks link in the left hand navigation. To get started creating a health check, I simply click the blue create health check button near the top of the screen. The first thing I need to do on the following page is name the health check. In this case, I'm simply going to call it example. Then I can specify the type of health check to create. For example, here I can see that I can create a health check based on an endpoint. It's here that I can choose to create a calculated health check.
